We have a proven background in Architectural design for large commercial buildings at all project phases but commercial projects are realistically constrained by resource and insurance limitations – Our professional indemnity insurance limit is currently £1 million so if your commercial project is likely to have a construction value of less than this then please feel free to get in touch
There is no permitted development to non-residential buildings so most building extensions and many external alterations do require planning permission – Recently we have designed and obtained approvals for extensions to industrial units, alterations to retail units, change of use and conversions to alternative planning classes.
Everything else
This could include any aspect requiring planning permission or any aspect requiring building regulation approval – Some projects we undertake don’t require either but still benefit from plans, designs and co-ordination

We prepare the relevant documentation and drawings aiming to obtain a successful planning approval where one is required.
Building regs
We provide a set of detailed drawn information to ensure Building Control approval and enable your contractor to benefit from coordinated plans.
Tendering
We obtain competitive tenders from vetted and reliable contractors and agree the staged payments, project start and completion dates.
Site inspections
We can attend site, inspect the works, advise if staged payments can be released and provide you with a detailed visit report with a list of recommendations.
